is pretty damn good. The kids and I are in Sacramento for a Weepies concert and I’m reaping the benefits of having amazing adult offspring.

Just trying to get back into this blogging thing, and journaling for myself. Social media has just about gotten on my last nerve and I don’t want to feel like I’m sharing things for likes all the time. We’ll see how it goes.
So raise a glass to turnings of the season
And watch it as it arcs towards the sun
And you must bear your neighbor’s burden within reason
And your labors will be borne when all is done
[Chorus:]
And nobody, nobody knows
Let the yoke fall from our shoulders
Don’t carry it all don’t carry it all
We are all our hands in holders
Beneath this bold and brilliant sun
Aw, man. I’m in a funk, y’all. Worked a ton in October, hurt my knee, haven’t been walking… it’s a recipe for a funky disaster. This is my favorite time of year, I should be happy to have free time and cooler weather and family eating occasions. I’ll get there. Should I wallow? Part of me wants to, but what a waste of time to do that. Meh. I’ll listen to music and clean the kitchen.
Welp, I’ve hurt my knee. I’m not happy about it. Taking the day off from doing an official walk, although I can’t say that I won’t be walking in place by my bed tonight before sleep happens. It’s been an exhausting weekend. I’m looking forward to the week just to get some rest. 🙂
I left the charger to my beloved Chromebook in Perry and I hate wordpressing from my phone, so I’m tardy to the blogging party this week. Woopsie.
Got rained on like crazy at the FSU game but it was still a blast. As always, I’m interested to see how the rest of the season goes. Last year’s National Championship has spoiled me. 🙂
I’ve still been walking every day, and keeping track of my progress along my pretend Camino, courtesy of walking4fun.com. About 38 miles into the trip, and it’s INSANE to me that I will only take 2-3 days to walk what I’ve walked in a week. Here’s where Walking4Fun has me – not the most scenic of routes, but that’s not the most important thing, now, is it?
My mind is everywhere tonight. It’s been a long day of organizing the house and I’m flat out pooped.
Here’s some good music. Because you deserve good music.
